HISTORY
BOSS Instruments, Ltd. was founded in 1990. Its founders had, for many years prior to this, engaged in the manufacture, acquisition and distribution of surgical instruments for many of the world's largest instrument companies but on a private label basis. They brought together sixty years of combined experience, and in so doing, we were able to rapidly come to market with an extremely broad and in-depth offering of high quality specialty instruments. The first two years were focused on the development of the international market, which remains an important and ever increasing part of the company's overall business. In 1992, BOSS entered the U.S. marketplace where its presence has steadily grown.
BOSS Instruments Ltd. corporate headquarters
was located in Nashville, Tennessee, until June 2006,
when it was moved to Earlysville, Virginia, which
now serves as the primary distribution center for its domestic andinternational market. All of
the BOSS specialty instrumentation is manufactured utilizing only German steel and craftsmanship, setting it apart from the majority of instrument companies, most of whom utilize third world countries such as Pakistan and Malaysia.
